Welcome to the New Zealand Energy Research Alliance

The New Zealand Energy Research Alliance brings together five of New Zealand’s largest organizations with a strategic focus on energy research. CRL Energy, GNS Science, Industrial Research Ltd, NIWA and Scion undertake research encompassing all aspects of energy supply and delivery. Our goal is to enhance the scope, capability and capacity of energy research to help New Zealand meet future energy challenges. Through collaborative research programmes with direct involvement of key government and industry stakeholders, and strong links to overseas research and development, we will co-ordinate substantial research effort to focus on New Zealand energy.
